Our nurturing mixed age nursery welcomes children from two years’ old. We’re proud of the role we take in helping children prepare for the next big milestone - transitioning to Reception class in Primary School!
Our award-winning nursery prioritises building positive relationships and nurturing emotional well-being. Our thoughtfully crafted curriculum is designed to nurture your child’s curiosity, independence, and love for learning; helping them to grow more independent and prepare them for the transition to Reception through to Key Stage 1.
Your child will build friendships with their peers, engage in cooperative play, practice sharing and taking turns, and learn to express their feelings in a supportive and caring environment.
Building speaking and listening skills
Olympic Primary Nursery provides a language-rich environment where children engage in conversations, storytelling and rhymes. Your child will be supported to expand their vocabulary, develop sentence structure and refine their listening and speaking skills.
Children in our Wellingborough nursery will engage with high quality support, activities and hands-on learning opportunities to become leaders in their learning that challenges their thinking and encourages curiosity. Your child will have opportunities to explore early maths concepts through counting games, shape recognition, and sorting activities.
We also foster a love for literacy through storytelling, letter recognition games, and exposure to a variety of books and materials.
Our Nursery provides ample opportunities for your child to develop both fine and gross motor skills through play-based activities. From threading beads and drawing shapes to running, jumping, and climbing, your child will gain confidence and coordination as they explore and move their bodies.
Gaining further independence
We also encourage your child to further develop important self-help skills such as dressing, cleaning up after activities, and using the bathroom independently. Our key workers will support your child to practise these skills at their own pace, fostering a sense of confidence and independence before their transition to Primary School.
Open collaboration and communication with parents
We encourage open communication and collaboration between parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on your child’s progress and offering tips and resources to support learning and development at home.
We welcome any questions or instructions and look forward to learning more about you and your child. Please contact us or book a tour to find out more about what we can offer your child.
